• Parish Religious Education Program: Classes for the 2008-09 school year have ended. Th annual quilt raffle drawing will be held July 5th, 2009. All proceeds will benefit PREP.

• Contemplative Prayer Group - At the heart if Christianity is the contemplative path, a means to deepen our union with God. If you are interested in learning more or want to join an on-going contemplative prayer group, call Carol Fournier at 862-2508 or email her at Carol.Fournier@uvm.edu. The group meets monthly at St. John Vianney Parish, South Burlington.

• St. Catherine's Parish Library -All parishioners are invited to browse and borrow from the variety of materials in our Parish Resource Library, located in the Parish Hall. • Do You Know Someone Who May Wish to Become a Catholic? Those who wish to join the Catholic Church are asked to contact our Parish Office regarding RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation.) Adult Catholics who wish to receive their First Communion or Confirmation are also welcomed. To register or for more information, please speak with Father Michael.
  
  
• PRAYER BEFORE THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Our Church is open for private prayer on Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  
  
• Bulletin Announcement Deadline All bulletin announcements (fax, e-mail, written copy, or phone call messages) have to be received by Mondays no later than 10:00 am.
  

Help Wanted

• Can You Help? We hope to continue necessary upgrades at the rectory: visitor bathroom on the first floor, office improvements, etc. If you can help us with any amount, it would be most appreciated!
  
  
• "Looking after your neighbors' well being is a matter of both compassion and social justice": Parishioners who live alone are invited to be a part of a "Telephone Reassurance" ministry. If you are interested in receiving a phone call each day to check on you, please call Geraldine (Jerry) Weiss, coordinator, at 985-0125. This is a chance to be connected to people who care about you each morning. It isn't necessary to be a parishioner - perhaps you have a friend or relative in the nearby area who might also be interested.
