Catholic CDs and Brochures Available

Have you browsed the CD display rack in the back of the Church? In a clear, easy-to-follow style, philosopher Peter Kreeft draws on the wisdom of Thomas Aquinas, C.S. Lewis and Cardinal Newman to provide us with Seven Reasons to Be A Catholic.

Be sure to stop by the Free CD display in the back of the Church and take advantage of the wealth of information that awaits you to help you grow in your faith and share that faith with others.

Choose from a variety of topics presented by today's top Catholic theologians and speakers. After you have listened to them, pass them on to others so they can be inspired, too! For those who are able, a suggested donation of $2.50 per CD would be greatly appreciated so that we can keep this program ongoing. Be sure to take some home!

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)

If you or someone you know are interested in learning more about our Catholic Faith or preparing for Baptism, Eucharist or Confirmation, please see Father Michael.

SOCIAL CONCERNS
St. Catherine's Social Concerns Committee: is looking for new members to join us in our mission. We meet about once a month and are open to new ideas for fellowship and outreach in our community. If you are interested in joining us please call or email Lauren Gibbs at 985-8772 or GibbsEng@aol.com

Please call Steve Gregory @ 985-3523 for parishioner transportation needs to Mass or anywhere else. Steve has a list of many parishioners who are willing to assist with transportation.

Please note: We need adequate time if possible to plan for driving people and need to know of cancellations as soon as possible so as not to inconvenience our drivers. Also we are always looking for more volunteers to drive.

Please call Sonny Sammut (985-8637) with any requests or suggestions for parishioner meal needs. Many parishioners have volunteered their culinary skills for those who could use a hand with meals during times of illness or other situation

Parish Humor

A 100 dollar bill, a 20 dollar bill, and a one dollar bill meet up at the shredder at the end of their lives. The 100 says, "I've seen the whole world during my lifetime. Why, I've been on cruises in the Caribbean, safaris in Africa, and vacations in Europe."

The 20 then says, "Well, I've not done quite as well, but I have been to Atlantic City, Disneyland, and Starbucks." They both turn to the one dollar bill and ask, "How about you?"

The one, not wanting to be outdone, says, "I've seen the whole country as well. I've been from church to church to church..." Then the 100 asked, "What's a church?"

Inspiration

Into each of our lives Jesus comes as the bread of life - to be eaten, to be consumed by us. Then He comes as the hungry one, the other, hoping to be fed with the bread of our life, our hearts loving, and our hands serving.

-- Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta
