The Diocese of Burlington is encouraging all parishes to conduct special food drives the weekend of May 1-2, in honor of the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. Bring your items to Church for the Shelburne Food Shelf. Items most in need at the Shelburne food shelf:
· Canned chicken, salmon and tuna
· Meals in Cans – Beef Stew, Chili, Beef Ravioli, Hash
· Canned fruit (no sugar added)
· Applesauce (6 packs preferred)
· Canned Vegetables
· Feminine Hygiene items (sanitary napkins, poise pads)
· Toothpaste, and especially, toothbrushes & floss
· Shower size bars of soap
· Ketchup, mayonnaise, yellow mustard
· Peanut butter
· Jelly
· Pasta – elbows, penne, thin spaghetti.

Working with the Vermont Food bank and other community Partners, the Shelburne Food Shelf continues a proud tradition of serving community members that would otherwise go hungry.
HOURS OF OPERATION
We are located in the Town Office Building in Shelburne Village. Our door is in the same hallway as the Shelburne Recreation Department. We are handicap accessible and will work with you to meet any special needs you may have.
Items can be left in the Green Bin at the Food Shelf door, or other Green Bin locations at the Shelburne Market, Pierson Library, and Paragon Design on Rte 7 in Shelburne.
